Perdana Botanical Garden

The Perdana Botanical Gardens is a 100 hectares park located near the historic centre of Kuala Lumpur.  It was originally established in 1890.

The massive garden is home to Sydney Lake and a wide variety of tropical plants and trees.  The park was previously called the KL Lake Gardens.

Nearby attractions include the Amphitheatre, KL Butterfly Park, Orchid and Hibiscus Garden, Islamic Arts Museum, Police Museum and the National Planetarium.

The Perdana Botanical Gardens can be accessed from the Dataran Merdeka metro station.
